About Emile Henry. Emile Henry is a French maker of ceramic cookware and bakeware, founded in 1850 in Marcigny, Burgundy, and still run by the Henry family. Its US store sells bread bakers, pie dishes, Dutch ovens and other kitchen essentials made from Burgundy clay, plus sister brands Jars Céramistes, Marcato Pasta and Woll Cookware.
