About Equator Coffees & Teas. Equator Coffees is a specialty coffee roaster founded in 1995 by Helen Russell and Brooke McDonnell in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is B Corp Certified, runs twelve neighbourhood cafes and sells whole-bean coffee online, including single origins, blends, espresso, organic and Fair Trade coffees, curated subscriptions, gear and merchandise.
Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more, for both one-time and subscription orders; subscription orders under $50 ship for a flat $5. Coffee can't be returned because it is perishable, while unused gear and merchandise in original packaging can be returned by contacting the company.
