About Free Country. Free Country is an outdoor apparel brand founded in 1990 that describes itself as born in Colorado's Rocky Mountains and raised in New York. Standard ground shipping is free on US orders of $99 or more ($9.99 below that), and the store does not ship internationally. Unworn items can be returned within 30 days for a refund minus a $9.99 label fee, and products carry a one-year limited warranty.
