About Hawaiian Host. Hawaiian Host is a Hawaii-based confectioner that has made chocolate-covered macadamia nuts since 1927 and calls itself the original of the category. It started as an experiment in Mamoru Takitani's parents' attic on Maui and is now part of Hawaiian Host Group alongside Mauna Loa. The online shop sells milk and dark chocolate macadamias plus newer flavours such as Ube White Chocolate.
Orders ship by FedEx or UPS from California within the US only, excluding Alaska and PO or APO boxes, and usually arrive in 2–7 business days. A $13 flat shipping fee applies to orders under $80. Because the chocolates are perishable, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
