How SaverCodes makes money: affiliate commissions from stores, clearly labelled advertising, and what that means for the codes and rankings you see.

How we make money
SaverCodes is free for shoppers. We earn in two ways: a commission from some stores when you buy after following one of our links, and sponsored placements that advertisers pay for per click.
You never pay more because of us. Commissions come out of the store's margin, not your price.
When a link earns a commission
Links to stores, including the button that opens the store when you reveal a code, may carry an affiliate identifier and a marketing parameter. The store then knows the visit came from SaverCodes and pays a commission if you buy.
Not every store has an affiliate programme. When a store does not, the same links still work; we simply earn nothing from them.
What this does not change
Codes are ranked by how well they work for shoppers, not by what we earn. A code's position comes from its success rate, how recently it was confirmed and how much it saves.
We do not hide the codes of stores that pay us nothing, and we do not remove a working code because a competitor pays more.
Sponsored placements are always labelled "Ad" and are kept separate from the ranked lists. Reviews written by our team are not paid for by the store.
Advertising
Advertisers buy clicks: each slot is won in an auction based on the advertiser's maximum cost per click, and the winner pays just above the next bid. Advertisers can target the language of the page but do not receive your identity.
Editorial work and advertising are decided by different people: paying for an ad does not buy a better place in a code list, a review or an article.
Programmes and partners
We work with affiliate networks and directly with stores. A network may set a cookie through the store's own site after you click; that is covered by the store's and the network's privacy policies.
As an Amazon Associate, and as a participant in other affiliate programmes, we earn from qualifying purchases where that applies.

If something on the site looks like it is influenced by money rather than by what works, tell us at [email protected]. We will explain or fix it.
