What SaverCodes collects, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how you can see, export or delete your data.

Last updated September 22, 2026

In short

You can browse and copy codes without an account. If you create one, we keep what is needed to run your account, pay your rewards and answer your questions.

We do not sell personal data. Analytics only runs after you accept it in the cookie banner. You can delete your account, and everything personal in it, at any time.

Who is responsible

LumaTech, 58 Elm Street, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV1 4JK, United Kingdom, is the controller of the data described here. Questions and privacy requests: [email protected].

What we collect

Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), country, the PayPal address you give us for withdrawals, your photo if you upload one, and your sign-in method (password or Google).

What you contribute: codes, deals, reviews, tips and comments, the stores you follow and the codes you save, and how you voted on a code.

Usage: the pages you open, the codes you reveal, the store links you click, your approximate country, the type of device and browser, and the address you came from. Reward and referral traffic is recorded with the address of the visit; members see it partly hidden, our admins see it in full for fraud checks.

Payments: for advertising top-ups we receive from PayPal the order reference, the amount and its status. We never see your card number.

Emails we send you: whether a message was delivered, and the codes we email for sign-in, email confirmation and password resets.

Why we use it and on what basis

To run the service you asked for: your account, saved codes, submissions, rewards, withdrawals and advertising campaigns (performance of a contract).

To keep the site honest: preventing fraud in rewards and advertising, blocking abuse, and keeping the codes accurate (legitimate interests).

To measure and improve the site with analytics, and to show sponsored placements (your consent, given in the cookie banner; you can withdraw it at any time).

To meet legal duties such as accounting for payouts (legal obligation).

Analytics and other services we use

Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how the site is used. They are loaded only after you accept analytics cookies; before that Google's consent mode sends a message without cookies and without identifying you.

Google Tag Manager, when the site owner has configured it, to load the tags above.

Google Sign-In, only if you choose it; Google tells us your name, email address and photo.

PayPal, for advertising top-ups and for paying withdrawals.

Email delivery through our mail provider, and for visitors without a proxy in front of the site, ipwho.is to turn an address into a country.

Hosting and the database are run by us; visits may pass through Cloudflare, which sees the connection and the visitor's address.

Who sees your data

Stores see that a visit or an order came from SaverCodes, and the identifier of the link that was used. They do not receive your name or email address from us.

Advertisers see, for their own campaigns, the date and time, the page, the country, the device and a partly hidden address for each click. They do not receive your identity.

Service providers listed above process data on our behalf. Some of them are in the United States; transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account data: while your account exists, and up to 30 days after you delete it in our backups.

Submissions that were published: they stay on the site without your name if you delete your account.

Reward and payout records: up to 7 years, because they are financial records.

Click and referral records used for fraud checks: 24 months. Analytics data: as configured in the tools above, at most 14 months.

Your rights

You can see and change your details in Account › Settings, and delete your account there. Deleting removes your profile, balance, votes, saved codes, comments, tips and reviews.

Depending on where you live, you can also ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to some uses, or ask us to restrict them. Write to [email protected] and we answer within 30 days.

You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time through the cookie banner, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effects, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
