What cookies we use

Cookies are small files kept by your browser. We use as few as we can, and analytics cookies only load after you accept them in the banner.

Necessary cookies keep you signed in, remember your language and your choice in the cookie banner, and protect votes and referrals from abuse. They cannot be turned off, because the site would not work without them.

Necessary cookies

sc_at — keeps you signed in. 7 days.

sc_rt — renews your session so you are not signed out while you use the site. 7 days.

sc_li — tells the page that a session exists, so the header does not flash "Log in" before your name appears. 7 days.

sc_lang — the language you chose. 1 year.

sc_consent — what you chose in the cookie banner. 1 year.

sc_ref — the member whose referral link you used, so they get credit if you sign up. 30 days.

sc_anon — an anonymous identifier so one person can vote on a code or mark a tip helpful only once. 1 year.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) — how many people visit, which pages they open and which codes they reveal. Up to 2 years.

Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, CLID) — anonymous recordings and heatmaps that show where the site is confusing. Up to 1 year.

Google Tag Manager, when the site owner uses it, loads the tools above; it sets no cookie of its own.

Cookies set by other sites

When you open a store through one of our links, that store and its affiliate network may set their own cookies to record that the visit came from us. Those are described in the store's own policies.

Sponsored placements on SaverCodes are served by us. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not build advertising profiles.

Changing your choice

Use the cookie banner to accept or reject analytics; rejecting keeps only the necessary cookies. Your choice takes effect immediately, without reloading the page.

You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block them entirely. Blocking necessary cookies means you cannot stay signed in.
