What happened last Black Friday
The fall 2025 Savings Event
According to NBC News Select and TODAY, the holiday 2025 Savings Event gave every Beauty Insider a sitewide discount based on their tier:

All tiers also got 30% off Sephora Collection. TODAY reported the tier discount used the code EVERYTHING and could be applied more than once during the event. NBC News noted purchase limits on a few high-demand brands (such as Dyson, Shark Beauty, The Ordinary and Nutrafol) and that the sale could not be combined with other offers. The same tiered discounts ran at Sephora inside Kohl's over the same dates, per a Slickdeals thread tracking the event.
Black Friday and Cyber Week 2025
Once the Savings Event ended, Sephora switched to product markdowns instead of a sitewide percentage. DealNews tracked "up to 50% off" deals across makeup, fragrance and hair care around Black Friday (November 28, 2025) and Cyber Monday (December 1, 2025), including brands like Too Faced, Rare Beauty, Urban Decay and Charlotte Tilbury. Marie Claire reported Cyber Week deals running through December 4, with examples such as the Dyson Airwrap marked down from $649 to $499.
In 2024, The Krazy Coupon Lady reported that Sephora's Cyber Week used daily rotating 30%-off brand deals, plus up to 50% off select fragrances.
What to expect in 2026
Based on last year, expect the same two-step pattern:
- Savings Event first. A tiered sitewide discount (last year 10%, 15% or 20%) that covers almost everything, including brands that rarely go on sale.
- Black Friday markdowns second. Deeper cuts, up to 50% off last year, but only on selected products, gift sets and tools.
The Savings Event is usually the better deal for restocking your regular products. Black Friday is better if the exact item you want is on the markdown list.

How to save at Sephora this season
Pick the right tier
Your tier is based on what you spent in the calendar year, so it can change before the sale starts. If you are close to VIB ($350) or Rouge ($1,000), a planned purchase before the event could raise your discount for the whole Savings Event. Don't overspend just to move up a tier, though; 5 extra points of discount on a $200 haul is $10.
Stack points and perks
Beauty Insider points still add up during sales. SaverCodes currently lists 25 Sephora codes, mostly member perks rather than straight discounts: bonus-point offers on certain brands and fragrance, free trial-size gifts with a minimum order, and free shipping. Gift sets are the sweet spot
Holiday value sets often cost less than buying the items separately, and Sephora discounted many of them during Cyber Week 2025, including fragrance sets.
